Keep pool chemicals cool, dry, and separated

Keep them in the original containers, in a cool dry spot, away from direct sun, moisture, and each other.

Pool chemicals aren’t complicated, but people mess this up. Chlorine tablets and muriatic acid should never be stored next to each other—they react and produce toxic gas. Same with chlorine and any organic material (grass, leaves, gas cans).
