Keith Richards' 2006 Fiji fall: the craniotomy and his refusal to rest

After cracking his skull falling from a tree in Fiji in April 2006, Keith Richards underwent a craniotomy to evacuate a subdural hematoma—a life-threatening blood clot pressing on his brain. Surgeons drilled into his skull to relieve the pressure, then removed a section of bone to access the clot. He spent a
