Keto lunches are just adult snack trays

Keto lunch boxes work best when you stop thinking “meal” and start thinking “snack tray”: protein, fat, and something green.

That’s the whole trick. A sandwich is a structure; a keto lunch is a collection. Pick two proteins (deli meat, hard-boiled eggs, rotisserie chicken), one fatty thing (cheese cubes, olives, avocado, nuts), and one crunchy veg (cucumber, bell pepper, celery). Pack them in separate little compartments so nothing gets soggy. Dip is optional but highly recommended — ranch or blue cheese makes it feel intentional instead of sad.

Don’t bother with “keto bread” or low-carb tortillas for work lunches. They don’t hold up in a box and they cost twice as much as the real thing. A roll-up — cheese inside a slice of salami or turkey — does the same job with zero hassle.

Use an ice pack. Nothing ruins a week of good intentions like warm chicken and sweating cheese. And don’t overthink variety; you’re not feeding a restaurant critic, you’re feeding yourself at a desk.

Eating keto is hard enough — don’t make lunch harder.
