The oversized linen button-up is this year’s winner because it does what a cover-up should: you throw it on over a wet bikini, it dries fast, and you look put-together without trying. Plus you can wear it to dinner, to the boardwalk, or tied at the waist when the sun goes down.

Crochet dresses are having a moment too, but they’re more “look at my outfit” than practical. Linen breathes, it wrinkles in a good way, and it doesn’t stick to wet skin.
