Linen wrinkles. That's its thing.
You don’t. Linen is a natural fiber that wants to crease. Fighting it is like fighting your cat — you’ll lose and look silly doing it.
But if you insist on less wrinkling: wash it in cool water, skip the spin cycle, and hang it dripping wet. Smooth it out with your hands while it’s damp. Don’t wring it — that’s how you get permanent wrinkles. Air dry, then if it’s still too crinkly for your taste, hit it with a steamer. Irons work too, but you’ll be pressing for a while.
Honestly, though, a linen cover-up that doesn’t wrinkle is just a polyester shirt in disguise. Let the fabric do its job. It’s supposed to look effortless, not starched.
Own the wrinkles. They’re texture, not a problem.
