Harold Budd and Brian Eno followed up The Plateaux of Mirror with The Pearl

The Plateaux of Mirror wasn’t a one-off — Budd and Eno returned in 1984 for The Pearl, picking up right where they left off with the same shimmering ambient-piano sound. Together the two albums practically defined a whole subgenre of atmospheric music.
