Kurt Cobain quoted Neil Young's 'Hey Hey, My My' in his suicide note

Cobain quoted the lyric “It’s better to burn out than fade away” from Neil Young’s “Hey Hey, My My” in his 1994 suicide note. Neil Young initially vowed never to perform the song again, but later reversed that decision at the request of Nirvana’s surviving members.
