Rolling Stone ranked Exile on Main St, as the best Stones album for years

Rolling Stone ranked Exile on Main St, at #7 on its 500 Greatest Albums list in 2003 and 2012 — the highest Rolling Stones album both times. It dropped to #14 in 2020. The album was also inducted into the Grammy Hall of Fame in 2012, the band’s fourth to receive that honor.
