How quickly was Black Sabbath’s Paranoid recorded?

Paranoid was recorded remarkably quickly — the backing tracks were completed in just three days in June 1970 at Regent Sound Studios in London, a small 4-track studio just off Tottenham Court Road. Additional work was done at Island Studios. The entire album was finished in a matter of weeks, coming just seven months after their debut.
