The Cowboy Junkies recorded The Trinity Session with one mic to a Betamax deck

The band circled around a single Calrec ambisonic microphone and recorded everything to a Sony Betamax SL-2000 video deck connected to a PCM-F1 converter. One microphone, one room, one take — and one of the most atmospheric records of the decade.
