How were Party Mix! and Mesopotamia later combined?

In 1991, Party Mix! and a 1990 remix version of Mesopotamia were combined and released as a single CD in the US, with Tom Durack having remixed the Mesopotamia tracks at Skyline Studios in July and August 1990.
