'Boulder to Birmingham' is Emmylou Harris' elegy for Gram Parsons

Emmylou Harris co-wrote “Boulder to Birmingham” with Bill Danoff as a direct response to the death of her mentor Gram Parsons in 1973. The title references their first gig together at the Edison Electric Company in Boulder, Colorado.
