What is ‘Zoso’ and why is it associated with Led Zeppelin IV?

Zoso is the popular name for Jimmy Page’s personal symbol on the album’s inner sleeve. Though not officially called Zoso, the symbol became iconic and is widely associated with the album. Each of the four band members chose a symbol: Page’s is often linked to Saturn and alchemy, Plant’s features a feather within a circle (symbolizing truth), Jones’s represents a person with confidence, and Bonham’s represents the trinity and strength.
