Frank Sinatra's Ring-a-Ding-Ding! was designed to have no ballads

The initial concept was an album without ballads, consisting entirely of uptempo swing numbers. The title track was written specifically for Sinatra by Sammy Cahn and Jimmy Van Heusen.
