When and where was Blonde on Blonde recorded?

Recording began in New York City in October 1965 at Columbia’s Studio A, but the sessions were largely unproductive. At producer Bob Johnston’s suggestion, Dylan, Al Kooper, and Robbie Robertson relocated to Columbia’s studios in Nashville, Tennessee, where the bulk of the album was recorded in February and March 1966.
