Prince hopped between four studios for Around the World in a Day

The album was recorded at multiple studios between February and December 1984, including the Flying Cloud Drive Warehouse in Eden Prairie, Minnesota; Sunset Sound in Hollywood; Capitol Studios in Los Angeles; and Paisley Park in Minneapolis.
