Blonde was recorded between 2013 and 2016 at Electric Lady Studios in New York, Abbey Road Studios in London, and Henson Recording Studios in Los Angeles. Ocean experienced writer’s block during the sessions, and production involved James Blake, Jon Brion, Pharrell Williams, Rostam Batmanglij, Buddy Ross, and Malay.
