Donny Hathaway handled vocals, electric piano, piano, and organ on Donny Hathaway Live. Phil Upchurch played lead guitar on side one and Cornell Dupree on side two, with Willie Weeks on bass, Fred White on drums, and Earl DeRouen on congas.
