Led Zeppelin made Physical Graffiti a double album by raiding the vaults

The eight new songs only covered about three sides of an LP, so the band filled it out with seven previously unreleased tracks from sessions for Led Zeppelin III, Led Zeppelin IV, and Houses of the Holy.
