Meddle 2016 Back Catalogue Vinyl Reissue – Source and Echoes Fade
The 2016 “Back Catalogue” vinyl reissue of Meddle was cut directly from the original analog master tapes by Bernie Grundman at his Hollywood studio. This was part of Pink Floyd Records’ broader campaign to return all studio albums to vinyl using first-generation sources, avoiding digital intermediaries. Grundman’s lacquers were pressed at Optimal Media in Germany, and the series is widely regarded for its dynamic, uncluttered sound compared to later digital remasters.
