Monbento and PlanetBox are the only lunch boxes with cutlery worth using.
If you want a lunch box with utensils built in, get the Monbento MB Square or the PlanetBox Rover—otherwise you’re just getting a plastic spork that bends.
Monbento has a clean slot in the lid that holds a full-size fork and spoon. You eat like an adult, not a kid at a school cafeteria. PlanetBox does it a little differently: the stainless steel fork and spoon snap right inside the lid, no rattling, no extra parts to lose. The only downside is the utensils are a bit stubby, but they’re solid metal, not flimsy plastic.
Both are on the pricey side. If you don’t want to spend that, skip the whole built-in category. Get a normal glass container and a separate utensil roll. It’s easier to wash, you can pick utensils that actually feel good in your hand, and you’re not paying extra for a gimmick.
This is one of those places where the cheap option isn’t actually cheaper once you’ve replaced the third broken spork.
