Heat transfer (common for one-off custom orders) leaves a thin plastic layer on top. You’ll feel the logo as a slightly raised, smoother patch. Screen printing can also leave a raised ink layer. Dye sublimation (often used for full-surface prints on cloth pads) embeds the ink into the fabric—much smoother, but even then some people notice a shift in glide, especially if the pad is a speed or control style.

If you need uniform texture across the whole pad, go with dye sublimation on a quality cloth pad, or get the logo debossed into a harder rubber pad. Otherwise, expect some tactile change.
