Most theme parks have some green space, but don't count on playgrounds.

Not really. Theme parks are designed to funnel you from one ride to the next, not to let kids burn energy in a grassy field. You might find a shaded bench area or a patch of grass near the entrance, but actual playgrounds with swings and slides? Almost never.

If you need a break, look for “quiet zones” or family rest areas. Some parks have small splash pads or soft play areas for toddlers. Check the park map before you go and look for icons labeled “rest area” or “nursing station.” That’s your best bet.

Or just let them run up and down the walkway between the popcorn stand and the bathroom. Works every time.
