Mount a power strip under your nightstand

The cleanest way to handle charging cables in a small bedroom is to mount a power strip to the underside of your nightstand or desk.

Out of sight, out of mind. Adhesive hook-and-loop strips (like Command strips) hold the power strip securely underneath. Then you just plug your chargers in there and let the cables come up from below. No more spaghetti on your nightstand.

Short cables help a lot here—your phone charger probably came with a six-foot cable you don’t need. Use a one-footer instead. For adapters that are bulky (like laptop bricks), tuck them into a small adhesive cable box or just let them hang under the table—they’re not visible from sitting height.

The real trick is getting the power strip itself off the floor and out of the way. Once you do that, the rest falls into place.
