Mousepad temperature won't change your glide.
Probably not. The surface temperature of a mousepad during gaming might rise a few degrees from your hand and ambient heat, but that’s not going to measurably affect how the mouse glides.
Cloth pads are affected more by humidity and wear than temperature. Hard pads (plastic, glass) are even less sensitive. Unless your setup is in direct sunlight or next to a space heater, the thermal change is negligible.
What does change glide feel over a long session is sweat, dust, and oil buildup. That’s real. Temperature alone? I wouldn’t worry about it.
Clean your pad instead of checking its temperature.
