No-go zones are easy to set in the app.

Yes — open the Roborock app, tap the map, and draw them. No fiddling with physical tape or magnets.

When you’re on the main screen, you should see the current cleaning map. Tap “Edit Map” (looks like a pencil or three dots depending on your app version). From there, choose “No-Go Zones.” You can draw rectangles or circles. The robot won’t enter them.

You can also set “No-Mop Zones” separately if you only want to avoid mopping a rug or carpet. Same spot in the app.

One tip: wait until the robot has finished mapping your house once before drawing zones. If you do it too early, the map might update and shift your zones to the wrong spot.

This is not where you overthink it — just draw a box and go.
