No restrooms on the Three Sisters Islands

No restrooms on the Three Sisters Islands.

You have to walk back to the main visitor center (or hold it). There are no facilities on the islands themselves.

The Three Sisters are small, rocky islands in the Potomac near D.C., part of the Chain Bridge area. You can wade out to them at low tide, but there’s nothing there but rocks and maybe some graffiti. No porta-potties, no buildings, no hidden bathrooms.

If you’re planning a longer visit, use the restroom at the visitor center before you head out. Or just know that you’ll be hiking back when nature calls.

This is not the place to test your bladder.
