One binder is enough for all your classes

One big binder with tabbed dividers handles every subject — the separate-binder system is overkill.

Get a 2-inch or 3-inch binder, a pack of 8-tab dividers, and a hole punch. Label a tab for each class. That’s it. Every loose worksheet, handout, or returned quiz goes in the right section immediately.

The trick is to stop treating each class like it needs its own home. You don’t. You need one shared home with clear rooms. The binder is the building; the tabs are the rooms. Dump papers after class, not at the end of the week.

If you’re worried about bulk, do a purge every Friday: toss junk, keep only what matters — study guides, graded work you need to reference, anything with instructions. You won’t miss that random vocab sheet from September.

Future You deserves a backpack that doesn’t weigh twenty pounds.
