Those are the three I’d recommend, and in that order.
Patagonia has the strongest environmental credentials of any clothing company at scale. Their swim trunks are durable, made from recycled materials, and they’ll repair them for free. Hard to beat.
Outerknown is a close second. Founder Kelly Slater, so surf cred is legit. They use recycled nylon and work with Fair Trade factories. Their trunks look good enough to wear to dinner.
Fair Harbor is smaller but solid. They recycle plastic bottles into beachwear. Slightly trendier cuts. Not as established on the repair side, but
