Permanent stains on a white mousepad? You're probably stuck with them.

Once a stain sets into a fabric mousepad — especially something greasy or dyed — it’s usually there to stay. The porous material soaks it in, and light colors show everything.

That said, if you want to try: spot-treat with a hydrogen peroxide and dish soap paste (1:1, let it sit 15 minutes), scrub gently with a soft brush, then rinse with cold water. For really stubborn stains, a diluted bleach solution (1 part bleach to 10 parts water) can work — but test a corner first. Bleach can damage the fabric or warp the pad.

If it’s a cheap pad, just replace it. A new one costs $10 and saves you the hassle. If it’s an expensive one, you might accept the stain as patina.
