Plain steel tins win for odor resistance

If you want a lunch box that doesn’t taste like yesterday’s fish, skip the leak-proof models and get a simple stainless steel tin.

Stainless steel is non-porous, so it genuinely doesn’t absorb curry or fish smells. The problem is almost always the lid.
