Rain rarely cancels a tour.

Probably not. Unless there’s lightning, a hurricane, or the tour operator explicitly says “rain cancels,” most outdoor tours run in the rain. Walking tours, bike tours, segway tours—they’re built for all weather. The guides carry umbrellas, you bring a jacket, and life goes on.

Boat tours and some adventure stuff (zip lines, hot air balloons) are more cautious. Rain plus wind equals cancelled. But standard city tours? They’ve seen rain before. They’ll see it again.

Always check the operator’s policy before you book. Most have a “runs rain or shine” line. If you’re the type who melts in drizzle, book something indoors. Otherwise, assume you’re going.
