Can I upgrade the RAM in my MacBook Air (2011)?
No. The RAM (memory) is soldered directly to the logic board. It is not socketed and cannot be removed or upgraded after purchase. The MacBook Air (2011) came with either 2GB or 4GB of RAM, and that amount is permanent.
