Can the Intel NUC 8 Bean Canyon be expanded with additional internal storage or wireless upgrades?

It has one M.2 2230 slot for a wireless card (Wi-Fi/Bluetooth), and the M.2 2280 slot supports both storage and optional Intel Optane Memory. No additional SATA ports or PCIe expansion slots are available due to the compact form factor.
