The Lenovo ThinkCentre M920q only accepts single-sided NVMe SSDs

The ThinkCentre M920q has two storage paths with different quirks. The 2.5-inch bay handles drives up to 7mm thick — fine for standard SSDs and slim HDDs. The M.2 slot is where it gets interesting: only single-sided NVMe SSDs fit because the slot sits tight against the underside of the motherboard. Order carefully for that M.2 slot, or you’ll be returning a drive.
