The Synology DS1522+ offers optional 10GbE alongside its four Gigabit ports

The DS1522+ keeps the four 1GbE ports from the DS1520+ but adds an upgrade path: you can drop in a 10GbE add-in card or use a USB-to-Ethernet adapter for faster connectivity. It also throws in two USB 3.2 Gen 1 ports and one eSATA port for external expansion, making it one of the more versatile network configs in Synology’s mid-range lineup.
