The HP EliteDesk 800 G1 TWR has a standard cooler mount and a spare optical bay

The G1 TWR is an older machine but still has a couple of tricks. The CPU cooler uses standard LGA 1150 compatibility, so you can swap it for something quieter or more effective.

There’s also a standard 5.25-inch optical drive bay. Nobody’s burning CDs anymore, but that bay is perfect for a storage adapter or a front-panel accessory. It’s a reminder that tower cases from this era had room to breathe that modern SFF builds don’t.
