Replacing the side brush on a Deebot N8 Pro+ takes ten seconds.

Just pull the old brush off and snap the new one on. No tools, no twisting, no swearing.

The side brush is held on by a simple press-fit pin. Grab the old brush near the base and yank upward. It pops right off. Then line up the new brush’s hole with the pin and push down until it clicks.

One tip: the brush has a little notch that should face the robot’s center. If it’s upside down, it’ll wobble and fling dust everywhere. Otherwise, you’re done.

Future you will appreciate the extra two minutes you saved by not reading a 2,000-word blog post.
