Reseat and check compatibility first.
Yes, boot loops after a RAM upgrade are common, but usually fixable without returning anything.
First: reseat the RAM. Push firmly until both clips click. Sounds basic, but loose sticks cause exactly this. Second: check your motherboard’s QVL (qualified vendor list). Not all 32GB kits play nice with every board. If the specific model isn’t listed, that’s likely your problem. Third: try one stick at a time in the second slot from the CPU (A2). If it boots with one, the other stick might be bad or the kit needs a different slot configuration. Fourth: clear CMOS (pull the battery for 30 seconds) to reset memory training.
If none of that works, check for bent pins in the CPU socket or dust in the DIMM slots. But nine times out of ten, reseating and slot order fix it.
Don’t panic — it’s almost never dead hardware.
