Klaus Voormann was a friend from the Hamburg days, and his collage-style cover won a Grammy. It’s also the album where the band started experimenting in the studio.

You might recognize his work on other albums too — he did the cover for the band Manfred Mann and later played bass on some solo Beatles projects. But Revolver is his most iconic.
