Separate the chips and they'll stay crunchy
Chips get soggy in a lunchbox because moisture from other foods and the air reaches them, so the fix is to keep them dry and sealed away.
You don’t need special containers. A zip-top bag works fine — just squeeze the air out before you close it. Or use the original bag, roll the top down tight, and trade the bag clip for a paper towel inside to absorb humidity. A small plastic container works too, and it also keeps them from getting crushed.
Keep the chips away from fruit, sandwiches, and anything with condensation. If you pack a cold drink, put it on the other side. That’s basically it. The chips hold up fine for hours as long as nothing wet touches them and they’re not left open.
Crunch is a right, not a privilege.
