Sgt. Pepper is the only one.

Yep, just one. The Beatles only won Album of the Year once — for Sgt. Pepper’s Lonely Hearts Club Band at the 1968 Grammys.

That’s it. No Revolver, no Abbey Road, no White Album. Not even Rubber Soul got a nomination for the top category. It’s kind of wild given how many legendary albums they made, but the Grammys were a different beast back then. They barely nominated rock records at all.

If you hear someone say “the Beatles won Album of the Year,” they’re almost certainly talking about Sgt. Pepper. And if they claim there were others, politely ignore them.
