Shock it hard. Then brush. Then filter nonstop.

Yes. You want a clear pool fast? Stop messing around with “natural” fixes or waiting for the sun to help. Do this now:

Buy pool shock — calcium hypochlorite or liquid chlorine. Triple the normal dose. Dump it in at dusk (sunlight burns off chlorine). Run the pump 24 hours a day. Brush every surface — walls, floor, steps. Algae clings; you have to break it loose. Backwash your filter every few hours when pressure climbs.

No shortcuts. No “add some algaecide and hope.” The green is alive. Kill it with chlorine, remove the dead stuff by filtration, and keep scrubbing. If your filter isn’t running long enough, you’re just stirring dead algae back into the water.

Do this right and you’ll see blue in 48 hours. Do it half-assed and you’ll be green all summer.
