Silicone cups beat fancy bento boxes
Silicone muffin cups are the easiest way to keep lunch foods from touching without buying new gear.
They’re cheap, reusable, and they squish into any normal lunch box. Put one cup for grapes, another for crackers, one for hummus, and your sandwich stays dry and separate. No more weird flavor transfer or soggy bread.
Bento boxes with built-in compartments look nice, but they’re overpriced and you’re stuck with their layout. Silicone cups let you decide portion sizes and mix-and-match. If you already have small glass or plastic containers, those work too — but the cups take up less space and don’t rattle.
The only rule is to keep wet things separate from dry things. Cups handle that just fine.
Your sandwich will thank you.
