Sistema’s Bento To Go is the one that actually adjusts
If you want a lunch box with dividers that truly move and come out for washing, get the Sistema Bento To Go.
Most “removable divider” lunch boxes are a lie. Either the divider is fixed and just the whole tray comes out (Yumbox), or the compartments are welded in place and you’re stuck scraping the corners. Sistema’s clip-in divider slides along a track inside the box, locks into different positions, and pops out entirely for cleaning. That’s the actual adjustable experience.
Yumbox is still a decent choice if you don’t need to change compartment sizes — their tray lifts out and is dishwasher safe. But the dividers themselves are permanent. PlanetBox gets thrown in the ring a lot, but its “dividers” are just separate magnetic accessories, which defeats the whole point. Rubbermaid’s LunchBlox are fine but also fixed. So if you want to make the sandwich pocket bigger today and smaller tomorrow, Sistema is really the only mainstream option that does that without a gimmick.
Washability is solid too: the whole container goes in the dishwasher, no hidden crevices. It’s not leakproof, so don’t pack liquids, but for normal lunches it’s great.
If you want real movable dividers, stop scrolling. Pick the Bento To Go.
