Skewers? Use a jar and a separate sauce cup.
There isn’t a lunch box built for skewers that does it all, but the closest you’ll get is a tall, wide-mouth jar or a deep meal-prep container plus a separate leak-proof sauce cup.
Most containers with a built-in dipping well are shallow, flimsy, and not actually leak-proof. Sticks poke right through a thin plastic lid, and the sauce well is usually just a tiny depression that spills the moment the box tips. You’re not going to find one that does both jobs well.
Instead, split it up. For kebabs or skewers, use a tall jar (like a 1L wide-mouth mason jar) or a deep rectangular meal-prep container that’s at least 3–4 inches tall. Lay skewers flat if they fit, or stand them upright in the jar—either way, trim the sticks so they’re below the rim when the lid is on. For sushi rolls, a normal bento box or even a cheap deli container works; they don’t need the vertical height.
For the sauce, just use a small screw-top condiment container (the kind you get for salad dressing, ~2 oz). They’re leak-proof, cheap, and you can throw them in the dishwasher.
Don’t buy a gimmick. A jar and a separate sauce cup will outlive any “built-in well” lunchbox.
