Skip the app. Use a paper map and your eyes.
It’s not worth the download. The app has basic navigation, but the real-time crowd info is usually lagging or wrong. You’ll get a better sense of foot traffic by just looking at which direction people are walking.
The app itself isn’t broken—just underwhelming. The official map is fine for finding bathrooms and viewpoints. But you’re better off using Google Maps for directions and trusting your judgment on crowds. There’s no secret queue-jumping feature.
If you want a decent digital guide, screenshot the park map before you go. That’s all you really need.
