The best toddler lunch boxes with suction bases are simple silicone trays with a snap-on lid — like the Bumkins Silicone Suction Plate.

Bumkins gets it right: the suction base is genuinely strong on a highchair tray, the silicone is food-safe and easy to clean, and the lid actually seals well enough for daycare. The compartments are decently sized, not a maze of tiny sections that you’ll never fill. Toddlers can pull a spoon out without flipping the whole plate, and when lunch’s over, you just peel it up and rinse.

The Munchkin Bento is a decent alternate if you need more sections, but the flat plastic base doesn’t stick as well as Bumkins’ suction ring. Ezpz mats are great too, but they don’t come with a lid — so they’re more for home than carrying out.
