No. Unless it has oversized balloon tires designed for sand, those little plastic wheels will just dig into the sand and become useless. You’ll end up dragging it anyway, which is worse than carrying a standard cooler.

Beach sand is the enemy of cheap plastic wheels. They sink. They clog. They make a simple walk to the shore into an arm-straining ordeal. A good backpack cooler or a soft-sided cooler you can actually carry will serve you better.

If you absolutely need wheels and the beach has a paved path to the water, sure, go for it. But if you’re walking across soft sand? Don’t waste your money on a wheeled cooler. Get a decent backpack cooler and use your hands for a beach chair.
