Skip the "regular" – buy tall-specific swimsuits.

High-waisted bottoms and long-line tops from standard stores will still ride up or give you a wedgie. It’s not you, it’s the proportions.

ASOS Tall, Athleta (their “tall” sizing actually works), and Long Tall Sally are where you should look. They make one-pieces with enough torso length so you’re not permanently hunched, and bikini bottoms with a longer rise so they actually cover you. Avoid “one-size-fits-all” cover-ups – they’re cut for someone five-foot-four.

Also: high-cut legs are your friend. They make your legs look longer, but more importantly, they don’t dig into your hips the way a lower-cut leg does. If you want a two-piece, look for adjustable straps and a longer band on the top.

Future You deserves a swimsuit that fits, not one that fights.
